Deposits, Cancellations & No-Show Policy

Due to the intimate nature of our restaurant and the extensive preparation required for each service, reservations for groups of four guests or more must be secured with a deposit corresponding to the food menu portion of the reservation.

When a reservation is confirmed, we commit seats, ingredients, labor, and production time specifically for your party. Because of our limited capacity, accepting a reservation often means declining other requests for the same date.

For this reason, all reservations are subject to the following cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled dinner service.

For cancellations made after a deposit has been received, 50% of the deposit will be retained, regardless of when the cancellation occurs.

Guests often ask why the retained amount is not refunded in full.

The answer is straightforward. A deposit exists to secure a reservation and reserve a limited number of seats exclusively for your party. Once those seats have been allocated, we may decline other guests who wish to dine on the same evening. In addition, purchasing, preparation, staffing, and service planning begin well before the date of your reservation.

The retained portion of the deposit helps offset the losses associated with holding inventory, reserving capacity, and declining alternative business opportunities.

No-Shows & Same-Day Cancellations

Reservations that fail to arrive without prior notice, or that are cancelled too late for us to reasonably reallocate the seats, result in a direct loss to the restaurant.

As a result, no-shows and cancellations made within the final 24 hours before service are subject to the full reservation value and are non-refundable.

This policy applies regardless of whether a deposit has been paid.

Not everywhere.

While we want our guests to feel comfortable and at home during their visit, it is important to understand that Dieci Boutique Restaurant operates within a private villa and not within a commercial building dedicated exclusively to restaurant operations.

The villa is both the home of the Chiarini family and the location of our restaurant. As such, certain areas of the property are private residential spaces and are not accessible to guests.

We therefore kindly ask all visitors to remain within the designated guest areas, which include:

• The restaurant dining room

• The lower lobby and reception areas

• The front garden and designated outdoor spaces

Access to private residential areas, service areas, kitchens, storage facilities, and other restricted sections of the property is not permitted unless specifically invited by Management.

These boundaries exist not only to preserve the privacy of the family residence but also to ensure the comfort, security, and smooth operation of the restaurant.

Guests wishing to step outside for fresh air are welcome to use the designated garden areas. We simply ask that everyone remain within the approved guest zones and respect any signage, instructions, or restricted areas that may be present.

Please also be aware that working guard dogs are present on portions of the property. These animals are part of the estate's security infrastructure and should not be approached, disturbed, fed, or interacted with under any circumstances.

For your safety, and out of respect for the private nature of the property, guests must remain within the designated public areas throughout their visit.

Each evening's experience consists of approximately 10 to 11 courses. We work exclusively with Bulgarian products, sourcing directly from local farms, gardens, artisans, and producers whenever possible. Rather than relying on imported luxury products, we choose to celebrate the extraordinary quality that exists within our own region.

Our waters and wines are selected with the same care and attention that we devote to our ingredients. Every pairing is chosen to complement, elevate, and enhance the culinary narrative of the evening rather than compete with it.

All wine pairings feature carefully selected premium Bulgarian wines. We take great pride in showcasing the exceptional quality, diversity, and character of Bulgaria's finest vineyards and producers. These wines form an essential part of the story we tell through our cuisine.

At the conclusion of the tasting menu, complimentary coffee and gourmet teas are offered to all guests.

For those who wish to continue their evening, a selection of premium spirits and digestifs may be enjoyed after the completion of the menu service. Guests are welcome to join us in the restaurant's living room for conversation with the Chef, fellow diners, and members of our team, or they may remain at their table if preferred.

Please note that spirits, digestifs, and any beverages ordered outside the tasting menu pairing are not included in the menu price and will be charged separately.

However, it is important to understand that Dieci is not a party venue. It is an intimate culinary destination dedicated to elegance, conversation, and the appreciation of food, wine, and hospitality.

For this reason, we do not permit loud celebrations, singing, chanting, organized group performances, disruptive toasts, or any activity that may interfere with the experience of other guests. The atmosphere of the dining room must remain calm, refined, and respectful throughout the evening.

Likewise, outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited. Guests may not bring cakes, desserts, wines, spirits, flowers with candles, celebratory food items, or any other consumable products onto the premises without prior written authorization from Management.

Every element served at Dieci has been carefully designed to complement the tasting menu and preserve the rhythm of the experience. Introducing external food or beverages compromises both the culinary integrity of the evening and the standards we maintain.

We believe that celebrations can be memorable without being disruptive. A quiet toast, a thoughtful gesture, meaningful conversation, and the sharing of an exceptional meal often create more lasting memories than spectacle.

Guests seeking an environment for singing, loud festivities, party-style entertainment, decorations, or highly animated celebrations may find that another venue is better suited to their expectations.

Any conduct that violates our house rules, disrupts service, interferes with the experience of other guests, or disregards reasonable requests from Management may result in the immediate termination of the dining experience. In such circumstances, the full value of the reservation and menu will remain payable.

Dieci Boutique Restaurant serves a fixed seasonal tasting menu conceived as a complete artistic expression by the Chef. While we will always listen to reasonable requests, we are unable to accommodate all dietary preferences, restrictions, or menu modifications.

Our cuisine is presented much like an opera performance or a work of art. When attending La Traviata or Turandot, one does not ask the orchestra to change the music or the singers to alter the lyrics to suit personal preferences. Likewise, when visiting the Louvre, one does not ask for the colors of the Mona Lisa to be changed because another shade would be preferred.

Our menu follows the same principle.

Each dish forms part of a larger narrative and has been carefully designed to express a specific idea, ingredient, season, technique, and emotion.

For this reason, substantial alterations, substitutions, omissions, vegan menus, vegetarian menus, pescatarian menus, or other highly restricted dining formats will not be available.

We invite our guests to place themselves in the hands of the Chef and trust the journey as it has been conceived.

What Is the Price of the Dieci Experience?

The price of our Hyper-Seasonal / Hyper-Local Tasting Menu is €150 per guest, including VAT.

The experience includes the complete tasting menu, filtered water throughout the meal, and complimentary coffee or gourmet tea at the conclusion of service.

Wines are not included in the menu price and may be ordered separately by the glass or by the bottle.

Our Wine Philosophy

At Dieci Boutique Restaurant, we believe that sustainability is not a slogan but a responsibility.

For this reason, we do not offer extended wine pairings or multi-course wine tasting programs. While such formats have become common in fine dining, they often result in partially consumed glasses, unnecessary waste, and the disposal of perfectly good wine.

Accessibility

Dieci Boutique Restaurant is accessible to wheelchair users from the parking area through to the restaurant entrance and dining spaces.

However, due to the historic and protected status of the villa, we are currently unable to provide dedicated accessible restroom facilities.

How Many Guests Does Dieci Accommodate?

Yes, we have a very strict limit.

In fact, the answer is found in our name. "Dieci" means ten in Italian, reflecting the maximum number of guests we serve on any given evening.

This limitation is fundamental to our philosophy. By serving only ten guests per service, we are able to provide an exceptionally personal, attentive, and consistent experience, with the Chef and team focusing on every detail of every course.

Our dining room consists of four tables for couples or one larger table accommodating up to four guests. Solo diners are always welcome and may reserve a table for two exclusively for themselves should they wish to enjoy the experience privately.

Private Dining & Exclusive Reservations

For guests seeking a more exclusive setting, private dining is available for groups of five to eight guests through the reservation of the entire restaurant.

As Dieci was conceived primarily as an intimate destination for couples and small parties, private dining reservations are available only from Tuesday through Thursday and are subject to availability.

Fridays and Saturdays are reserved exclusively for couples and individual guests, allowing everyone to enjoy the restaurant in its most intimate, relaxed, and romantic atmosphere.

Because of our extremely limited capacity, private reservations require advance planning and the full allocation of the restaurant for the evening.

At Dieci, exclusivity is not a marketing concept—it is a consequence of our commitment to serving only ten guests at a time, and serving them exceptionally well.

When Is Dieci Open?

Dieci Boutique Restaurant operates five days per week, from Tuesday through Saturday, including most public holidays.

Our restaurant follows the rhythm of the land and the seasons. As a hyper-seasonal and hyper-local dining destination, we operate primarily during Spring, Summer, and Autumn/Winter, adapting our activity to the availability of ingredients, agricultural cycles, and the realities of rural life.

During the months of January and February, service is limited to Fridays and Saturdays only.

Please note that winter operations may occasionally be affected by severe weather conditions, public health regulations, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control. Dieci Boutique Restaurant offers complimentary on-site parking exclusively for our dining guests.

Our private property can safely accommodate up to six medium-sized vehicles, allowing guests to park conveniently within the grounds of the estate during their visit.

The parking area is located inside the secured perimeter of the property and is monitored as part of our comprehensive security system.

More than 40 CCTV cameras with night-vision capability operate throughout the villa, gardens, and exterior areas to help ensure the safety and security of both our guests and their vehicles.

While reasonable security measures are in place, guests remain responsible for their personal belongings and vehicles at all times.

Parking is provided free of charge and is reserved exclusively for guests with a confirmed reservation at Dieci Boutique Restaurant.

From the moment you arrive at the gates of Dieci until the moment you depart, your comfort, privacy, and security remain among our highest priorities.

Health, Hygiene & Guest Responsibility

Dieci Boutique Restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner service only.

Guests are welcomed from 18:30 (6:30 PM), and the restaurant remains open until approximately 24:00 (Midnight).

Unlike conventional restaurants, Dieci does not operate multiple seatings, table rotations, or staggered dining schedules.
